For the first time in the 1/200 scale, Herpa presents a Convair 440 model. In 1956/57, Swissair purchased eleven aircraftof this type, also called Metropolitan. The model, a small-scale copy of HB-IMK, named "Neuchâtel", sports numerousgreat details: the fuselage is made of metal, the tires are made of rubber, and the propellers can turn. (Made of metal)
