Shortly after WWII in 1954, the company was founded by Thomas Fischinger who transported goods with a silo trailer. After the company founder had passed away in 1967, it was mainly invested in freight service and food- and animal food silo vehicles. In 1985, the fleet was aimed for transporting chemical liquids which is still the core business today. In 1994, the first silo- and tank containers were purchased. The combined traffic is permanently build up and expanded. The company headquarters are located in Dietingen near Stuttgart. There, the operation of the 25 modern tank trailers and approx. 50 tank containers is coordinated. The Herpa model is a semitrailer loaded with tank container.
