The foundation for the De Rijke group was laid in 1945. The first trucks were purchased from the American army. In the beginning, activities were mainly concentrated on transporting milk and cattle. De Rijke continuously grew: In 1950, the company already owned fifteen trucks. In the end of the 60s, the first foreign subsidiary was established. Over the years, De Rijke has grown from forwarding company to a full-fledged logistic service provider with a comprehensive network of transport routes and subsidiaries all over Europe.
