Among the third batch of Aero L-29 models in the 1/72 scale released in cooperation between Herpa and Modelyletadel are three new “Delfins” in attractive color schemes. This silver and blue Delfin with the Russian Air Force flag on its tail was operated by the Russian Defense Sports and technical Organization (ROSTO), the successor of the Soviet DOSAAF, a paramilitary sport organization installed as preparation for military service. After her retirement, LA-0819 was put on display at the aerodrome near the Ukranian city of Kharkiv. Distributed by Herpa worldwide – with exception of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
