Over the years, 80 D-marks seed money and a small truck, with which company founder Ludwig Söllner and his wife Martha established a coal merchant’s business and agricultural trade in Kleintettau in 1948, have become an impressive fleet with over 180 drawbar- and semitrailers and an annual turnover of about 40 million Euros. 320 employees at ten locations are working for the company today. Next to the actual transport business, Söllner generates a large part of the turnover with supplying raw materials to the local glass industry and transporting the vials, which are produced in these glass factories, to the cosmetics and beverage industry.
