Qantas established the still existing “Kangaroo Route” from Sydneyto London way back in 1947 with a Constellation. In 1954, SuperConstellations of the type L-1049E began to replace the olderexamples. One year later, the original of this model with the registrationVH-EAE and the name “Southern Noon” entered the fleet.
