In addition to the specially decorated Boeing Dreamliner already announced in the 1/500 and 1/200 scales (item nos. 534079 and 570756, respectively), Herpa will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Australian airline with a small series of models from different eras of its history. From the DC-4 to the 707 all the way to the Jumbo Jet, Herpa will be releasing limited editions in both 1/500 and 1/200 throughout the year. A Boeing 707-300 will kick-off this series in 1/500. Operated from 1965 to 1974, the "City of Parramatta" sports the "V-Jet" livery, first introduced with the addition of the Boeing 707 to the fleet in the year 1961.
