Herpa's Monument Truck provided the idea and the design for this unique motorail model railroad set, to be produced in close co-operation with the famous model railway company Maerklin. It will contain an electric engine of the 101 series (DC, digital interface) with the Monument look, a Monument style sleeping car for the truck drivers, and four low-floor wagons used by the "rolling road" system in Europe. Each of the low-floor wagons is loaded with a Herpa truck produced exclusively for this set. The DC version will come as a limited edition of 150pcs (AC version: 1000 pcs) and is scheduled to be released in fall 2003
