This Airbus A320, the third in a series of limited edition models commemorating the 100th anniversary of Mexicana’s founding, sports the livery introduced in 1990 following the privatization of the airline. The many different tail designs symbolized Mexico’s rich Spanish and Pre-Columbian heritage. One of the more common designs replicated the Talavera ceramic from the Spanish colonial era. Don’t miss out on the other two models in the centenary series: the Airbus A318 in Mexicana’s final livery (item no. 534772) and the Boeing 727 in the classic “Golden Aztec” livery (item no. 535052).
