Mexicana was Mexico’s largest airline and, after KLM, Avianca and Qantas, the world’s fourth oldest airline that had continuously operated under the same name. Founded back in 1921, the carrier had to declare bankruptcy in 2010. 2021 would have therefore been their centenary.
