The Malteser Hospitaldienst Austria is a relief organization of the Austrian Grand Priory of the Order of Malta. The organization was successively expanded to today's status of a legally fully recognized relief organization for disabled people and rescue operations. In 1958, the Maltese hospital service began its rescue services by assisting the Red Cross in Vienna. From 1962, its members also regularly undertook the task of nursing sick people. A partial edition of this exclusive model is also available from the Herpa brands shop.
