The Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz was founded in 1993 in Wittenberg and is today Germany’s biggest urea and ammonia producer. AdBlue is SKW’s new product – a high purity urea solution, based on synthetically produced urea – which is therefore color- and odorless. With the help of AdBlue, dangerous nitrogen oxides, which develop when diesel fuels combust, are converted into nitrogen and water vapor. The model with the AdBlue design was produced exclusively for SKW.
