In 1970, the forwarding company was founded in Rudersberg. In 1989, Heinz Knecht founded a subsidiary in Triptis, Thuringia. Today it comprises of a warehouse- and logistics center. Since 2008, Knecht TVL GmbH has been a part of the NordSüd company group. The company group’s headquarters are located in Westphalia. Currently, 800 employees work in 13 locations for the company. The extra-long vehicle is currently tried out in an on-road test.
