Like many other forwarding companies, the forwarder Werner from Goldbach in Franconia also began with one small truck with which company founder Michael Werner operated transports for construction sites, saw mills and for road construction in 1956. The rapid growth of industry, retail and trade soon necessitated waste management in the companies. The company shifted its focus to this sector. About 90 people work for the company today. The model in the really striking company design is a walking floor semitrailer.
