The company group Max Bögl Bauunternehmung GmbH & Co. KG is a Bavarian construction company with headquarters in Sengenthal near Neumarkt/Upper Palatinate. Max Bögl senior founded his brick layer company as early as 1929. His sons continued the company. In 1997, a structural change followed. From the hitherto consolidated company, single branches were outsourced but remained independent companies within the company network. In 2003, the world’s first Transrapid route was inaugurated in Shanghai. Its guideway girders were made by Max Bögl. Other famous buildings made by the company are the high-risers at the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin and the new central railway station in Berlin. The Herpa model consists of a three-axle rigid tractor with a three-axle, double-telescopic semitrailer.
