During the German reconstruction, Werner Egerland began with a special transporter from his native city Berlin. Shortly after, in 1949, he established a subsidiary in the VW city Wolfsburg, near the manufacturer before relocating his headquarters to Osnabrück in 1955. The company is still based there today and provided the original of this Eurolohr 100 Herpa miniature. Occasion for a Herpa model was also the logistic pro’s 60th anniversary.
