The history of the forwarder Wirtz began 100 years ago as a fruit and vegetable business. Only the fourth Wirtz family generation resorted to the transport business in 1984. Today, the company is a modern transport and logistics service provider with over 60 own refrigerated vehicles. To meet the steadily increasing customer demands, the company moved to new premises in Bornheim in 2003. There, next to modern offices, a refrigerated warehouse, 1,000 square meters of storage space and an own repair shop are located. The refrigerated box trailer features the multi-color advertisement of Roland Wüst GmbH, a company from Sankt Augustin near Bonn specialized in organizing major events which cooperates with the forwarder Wirtz. The trailer is pulled by the new Actros featuring the Wirtz design. Available in September at your local eXtra Partner Store.
