Originally, the core business of the forwarder Wirtz from Bornheim had been trading fruit and vegetables. Meanwhile, the company, now managed by the fourth generation, has become a modern transport and logistics service provider. Today, more than 60 vehicles are on tour for Wirtz – among them also this so-called TAPA transport - for especially valuable goods - equipped with a special alarm system and GPW transmitters.
