MAN TGX XXL glass transporter semitrailer „Dahmen / Saint Gobain"
Product number:
156264
Listprice:
€29.50
The new Langendorf glass transporter is a complete new development by Herpa. The model is somewhat shorter compared to the concrete component truck and features a cover. The model is also submersible. Only the wheel suspensions are the same as on the concrete component truck – everything else is completely new – a top mold novelty. Adolf Dahmen founded his company in 1930 and operated as threshing contractor and a straw- and lumber trade. He managed the necessary transports with a horse-drawn vehicle and a truck. In 1944, a milk transporter was added. In 1954, the straw trade was discontinued to solely handle long-distance transports of glass, construction material and package freight. Today, next to the volume trucks and local traffic trucks they own an entire fleet of special glass transporters.
