The internationally operating logistic and forwarding company was founded in 1872 by Gottfried Schenker. In 1931, it was taken over by the former Deutsche Reichsbahn and, after WWII, remained in possession of the Deutsche Bundesbahn until in 1991, when the Stinnes AG took over the majority of shares. In 2002, the Stinnes AG was again taken over by the Deutsche Bahn AG. Today, Schenker belongs to the DB’s transport and logistics branch. The Schenker group occupies nearly 55,000 employees worldwide in 1,500 locations. Among the company services are also heavy-duty transports with special vehicles and cranes. This time, we are releasing a MAN TGX canvas-cover semitrailer in the company’s design, with forward-stroke axel on the tractor.
