KVS' history goes back to 1990 when shareholders from the old federal states established "Kranvermietung Sachsen" (crane rental Saxony). Six years later, in July 1996, Klaus Wittrock from the company group Wittrock obtained the majority of company shares. Next to two other shareholders of the company group, Michael Mross also became a shareholder. The evolving structural crisis in East Germany as well as the increased competition also entailed drastic measures. Today, a flexible, capable, transparent and especially independent "Kranvermietung & Schwertransporte Michael Mross e.K. is available for transport and lifting operations. A partial edition is now also available at the Herpa brands shop.
