At Herpa, the new caterpillar crane Liebherr LR 1600/2 also goes into the second expansion stage. With six additional semitrailers, the Derrick boom is now transported to the building site. First, one semitrailer transports the two first ballast weights. Another semitrailer transports the 12 m lattice tower especially designed for the Derrick while a third semitrailer transports a new 6 m section and two more ballast weights. Another three semitrailers of Wasel Krane with the new Derrick components will follow until September 2015.
