When the Hungarian airline‘s subsidiary Malév Express was founded in 2002, four CRJ200ER jets were purchased for regional services. The original of this model, HA-LNB, was launched in September 2002 as the second plane of this type. If the planes turn out to be what the doctor ordered, they may soon replace the Fokker 70s used by parent company Malév, so it can concentrate its fleet on just two types, the 737 and 767.
