The original of this A340-600 is unmistakable: originally owned by Virgin Atlantic Airways, she was retired and sold in March 2020. The Maltese charter specialist Maleth Aero operated this aircraft for several months as a so-called “preighter”, a passenger airline that was modified to be used as a freighter, flying medical relief supplies to the United Kingdom for the British National Health System NHS.
