Contrary to what you may be used to, this 1/200 scale DC-3 model is made completely of metal. Lufthansa operated only three such airplanes. The one with the registration D-CADE - the original of our model - became the best known of these DC-3s, and even after the purchase of further Convair and Viscount planes, it was used for many more years as a cargo plane.
