The first Airbus of Lufthansa‘s fleet, D-AIAA, was introduced by the German airline in 1975, and named „Garmisch-Partenkirchen“. At the time, Airbus was unable to deliver its A300 with the usual shining look, and instead, painted the planes dull gray underneath the blue cheat line.
