LOT Polish Airlines Ilyushin IL-18 (late colors) - SP-LSG
Product number:

Poland’s national airline had relied on the sturdy Ilyushin IL-18 for almost three decades. The first of the four-engine aircraft were introduced in 1961, the last were retired in 2000, and sold on by the following year. Such was also the fate of SP-LSG that started out with LOT in 1965 before being sold to Balkan Bulgarian Airlines in 1991, ultimately seeing service with various African carriers until around 2005. This model of SP-LSG is released in the livery that LOT introduced in 1977 that then featured a cleaner design with a darker blue color, an enlarged crane logo on the stabilizer and the airline name in large titles on the fuselage.
