On May 8, 2004, this Super Constellation, registered N73544, landed at the airport of Basel/Mulhouse, closely watched by the European press. The airplane has been leased by the Swiss Super Constellation Flyers Association, which acquired this former „queen of the skies“ in the USA, and had it restored there. The project is sponsored by the Swiss watch manufacturer Breitling, who in turn may advertise its watches with a large logo on the fuselage.
