Already one year after its foundation in 2004, Kingfisher Airlines, the subsidiary of the biggest Indian brewery, was crowned with the “Best New Airline Award” of the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation. Amazingly, flight operations only started in Spring 2005 with four leased Airbus A320-200, one of them being the original of this model with the registration VT-KFA.
