On October 1, 1947, Walter Usinger founded a forwarding company and incorporated Josef Trombetta, owner of a truck and a long-distance traffic concession on January 13, 1948, to become Usinger & Trombetta. In the beginning, care packages and sugar were transported. On December 31, 1950, Walter Usinger took over Josef Trombetta’s shares and continued to manage the company as sole owner. The meanwhile very well known name Usinger & Trombetta remained. Today, the company has 27 employees and is mainly specialized in heavy load transports. A partial edition of this exclusive model is now also available at Herpa eXtra.
