Walz was established by Friedrich Walz in 1931. His first jobs included transporting milk and goods but he also worked on behalf the “Post” (mail). The family-owned company has been managed by the third generation since 2000. At that time, the freight and long-distance traffic was also renamed “Walz Transporte e.K.”. Today, the fleet consists of modern semitrailers, heavy-load jumbos with lifting roof and open trailers for oversized loads. A partial edition of the current exclusive model is now also available from the Herpa brands shop.
