"Our location is Brunswick, our workplace is Europe", so the striking advertising slogan of the forwarder Wandt. The Brunswick-based transport specialist operates about 70 trucks Adalbert Wandt established the company with a Büssing Burglöwe in 1939. For Adalbert Wandt the Büssing plant was truck supplier per se since it was based in the same city. This old love is still alive today although Büssing was merged into MAN in 1971. The image of Heinrich Büssing on the backside attests to this old connection. The pioneer of truck history wearing an Eintracht scarf was probably a computer gag to honor another Brunswick institution, the soccer club Eintracht Braunschweig. The eXtra-partners will have this limited edition Herpa model in store in June.
