The quite young company was founded in 1991 under the name Forster & Partner and with only one single tractor in the fleet. Already five years later, it was nine trucks before one year later Peter Schwandner from Pfreimd took over the forwarding company Forster & Partner. In 2001, the company operated under the name Schwandner Logistik + Transport GmbH and expanded the fleet to 40 vehicles. Today, 150 employees work in Germany and 50 in subsidiaries in Rumania and Bulgaria joined by 160 company-owned trucks. Main transporting operations are heavy duty loads and large-volume goods.
