In the summer of 2002, the German Red Cross' division in the town of Gettorf purchased this vehicle from the city of Wuppertal and refurbished it for its services. The model is now available from Herpa in the usual high degree of precision. On the original vehicle, part of the right fender had been replaced, the design not being reapplied afterwards - therefore we have also left this detail off the model accordingly.
