The brewery Warsteiner from the Sauerland (western Germany) has been a ballooning sponsor for many years. In 2006, on the occasion of the annual hot air balloon festival, a truck of the in-house forwarding company Merk was designed accordingly for the first time. The one-time edition Herpa model adds to the Warsteiner truck series and is equipped with Herpa Scenix technology. On the push of a button, the truck’s engine begins to roar, the lights go on and the balloon on the trailer illuminates.
