On April 25 and 26, 2008, almost 100 vehicles took-off for the “Metz Rallye Classic”, a vintage car rally all across the Bavarian district Central Franconia. One of the stations along the route had also been the Herpa Miniaturenmuseum in Dietenhofen. Amongst other things, the special Metz-Rallye model was partly given away and partly sold.
