Car transport train "Schneewittchen Express" Herpa/Märklin (AC version, digital)

The Snow White Express with a NOHAB-locomotive and four transport wagons according to the authentic Swedish prototype from the Epoch III/IV. The “fairy tale” freight consists of eight legendary, historic Volvo 1800 ES estate-coupes (also designated as “Snow White’s Coffin”) and is transported respectively in special automobile glass containers. The seven dwarfs are represented through 7 silver Volvos and Snow White herself through a pink Volvo. Juicy: The pink Volvo was designed after Marilyn Cole’s prototype from the Playboy magazine in 1972. In this issue, Marilyn Cole was “Playmate of the Month” and as a PR-gag she received a pink Volvo, the “Snow White’s Coffin”. For insiders: The cart-horse of the Snow White Express is a NOHAB diesel locomotive TMY 102 of the Tågåkeriet I Bergslagen AB (TÅG AB). It was first constructed in 1957 by NOHAB as MY 1128 for the Danish State Railroad. In 1994 it came back to Sweden. The Märklin train formation: chassis and coachwork of the locomotive made of metal.
