In the 1970s and early 1980s, the ADAC-Metz-Rally was known as top German rally event far beyond Franconia’s borders. Racing legends like Björn Waldegad and Walter Röhrl inter alia participated in the “Metz”. Since 2005, the Metz-Rally has been revived as vintage car rally and has been leading from Stein through Central Franconia since. In 2014 too, Herpa supported the event with a special model. A partial edition is now also available at the Herpa brands shop.
