Today‘s sister company of Alaska Airlines was founded in Seattle in 1981, and served Pan Am and Northwest as a feeder to their international networks. In 1986, the Alaska Air group took over the majority of Horizon‘s shares. Since then, Horizon has become the most important regional airline in the northwestern USA. The original of our model, registered N604QX, was introduced in December 2001 as the fourth of a total of twentyeight regional jets of its type.
