The internationally operating logistic- and forwarding company was founded in 1872 by Gottfried Schenker. In 1931, it was taken over by the former Deutsche Reichsbahn and after WWII, was also owned by the Deutsche Bundesbahn until the Stinnes AG took over the majority of shares in 1991. In 2002, the Stinnes AG again was taken over by the Deutsche Bahn AG. Today, Schenker belongs to the resort transport & logistic of the DB AG. The Schenker group employs almost 55,500 staff members worldwide at about 1,500locations. .Among the company tasks are also heavy load transports with special vehicles and cranes. This time, we release a Henschel HS 140 curtain-tarp trailer with two-axle trailer in the former design.
