Hapag-Lloyd Flug, which has been absorbed into today’s TUIfly, could have celebrated its fiftieth birthday this year if it had not been taken over by its most important customer, TUI. The original of this model with the registration D-AHLM was the first of initially three aircraft acquired by Hapag-Lloyd Flug in 1972. Four further tri-jets were to follow shortly after.
