In January of this year, the original was delivered featuring exclusive business class seating. On board the Boeing 737-800 a maximum of 52 guests can be accommodated in paired seating with an extra large pitch of 1.50 meters. The airplane carries the name of the founder of Hamburg-Amerikanische Packetfahrt-Aktien-Gesellschaft “Albert Ballin”, who put the comfort and the individual wishes of his guests above everything else, as long as 100 years ago. With a limousine, the passengers are transported from the hotel to the airport, where they board without having to wait via a separate check-in desk. Of course the 737 in the typical orange colors with the blue Hapag-Lloyd emblem doesn’t fly to the ordinary mass tourism destinations but to the most picturesque and unique places on earth. Those of us not able to afford this exclusive travel pleasure can at least dream about it. And that works very well with a model of this Kreuzflug original.
