In 1978 the new all-purpose fighter Mirage 2000 took off on its maiden flight. As the advanced 2000C, it is today based at the EC2/2 squadron at Côte d’Or air base near Dijon. To mark the transfer of Mirage training to the EC s/5 “Ile de France” in Orange-Caritat in July 1998, the Mirage 2000C RDI with the registration 101 was redecorated with oversized motifs of the three flights of squadron EC2/2. We release this Mirage model with this extraordinary special livery as a limited edition.
