The bestselling Cirrus SR20 built by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota, is a piston-engined composite monoplane seating up to five. The SR20 is popular with flying schools, among them the European Flight Academy, operating no less than 25 aircraft, securing professional training for ongoing pilots in the Lufthansa Group. We are releasing this SR20 model with the Swiss International Air Lines tail design as a limited edition in the 1/40 scale as part of our Herpa Handcrafted Series. With a wing span of 29.2 cm (11.5 in) they make a very decorative display for aviation collectors or ongoing pilots. The models of the Herpa Handcrafted Series are produced in small runs, seeing use as exclusive presents or for display purposes. Every single part is manufactured from resin by hand and comes with an elegant and sturdy display stand with a wooden base.
