In partnership with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Etihad Airways launched the so-called “Choose liveries” in 2019, with which some of the airline’s aircraft highlight the most important international trade markets and industrial partners of the Emirate. Two of the in the meantime 14 Dreamliners, one of these being the 787-9 registered A6-BLT, received a “country scheme” with motives from Italy. The Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum in Rome, and the Rialto Bridge in Venice are framed by several colorful masks, characteristic for the carnival in the famous lagoon city.
