The distinctive tri-jet was an essential part of the Condor fleet from 1965. In 1975, D-ABKL entered the fleet and was retired in 1989. However she flew on until 2003 when she was ultimately placed in storage from her last operator in South Africa – proof of the reliability of the elegant 727.
