The history of Cargolux began in 1970 with the first flight of a Canadair CL-44 from Stockholm to New York to pick up a shipment of strawberries and iceberg lettuce. Today, the fleet of the Luxembourg-based airline consists of no less than 28 Boeing 747 freighters. The airline celebrates its 50th anniversary with a modified version of the Cargolux titles on this 747-8.
