One of the fifty planned “World Image Tail Designs” livery variants, with which British Airways had intended to design its fleet comes from Botswana. The artist Cgoise Ntcoxo from the Ncoakhoe tribe of the Kalahari Desert created a picture based on cave-paintings. A total of eight airplanes in the British fleet carried that design, among them the Boeing 747-400 registered G-BNLZ. Just like the other “World Images”, this colorful original too is long gone. With this limited edition, Herpa hopes to usher in a renaissance for this extraordinary livery.
