With eight ATR-72-200s, four Boeing 717-200s and three Airbus A321s Bangkok Airways services 20 destinations in 8 countries. The airline’s culturally significant and often exotic destinations are reflected in the aircraft liveries. So the airline’s third and youngest A320-200, registered HS-PGW carries, just like the Boeing 717-200 registered HS-PGP, the name “Samui” and a special livery illustrating the island’s rich heritage. Both airplanes with the especially elaborate imprints are available as models. The Boeing 717 (item no. 510417) in the 1/500 scale has been available since 2002, the A320 in the 1/400 scale will be available soon.
