This is the smallest 1/500 scale type ever released by Herpa. It is a miniature of the so-called Model 1, the first aircraft to be developed by Boeing. The airplane also called B & W was named after two friends, William E. Boeing and George C. Westervelt. Its maiden flight took place on June 29, 1916.
